  • Is concurrent filing allowed for F2A category?

    Hello!

I'm little confused about family-based green card process.

I'm LPR, my wife is currently in the US under valid status.
I'm wondering if concurrent filing is allowed for F2A category?

I read that if F2A is current, we can file I-130, I-485, I-131, I-765 all together.
But USCIS says "In some categories, even if there is a visa number available at the time of filing, you may not be allowed to file concurrently unless you have an approved basis of eligibility (that is, an approved petition) before being allowed to file for adjustment of status."

We thought that we can file and send all the docs by ourselves but the process turned out to be much more complicated than we expected.
Should we just use an attorney? Anyone here with the same case do it themselves?
